Because of the World Police and Fire Games taking place at Stormont this week, we are switching to a race at Belvoir instead. The Hill Climb will take place on Wed 14th instead.
Meet in main car park of BELVOIR for 7pm.

An exciting race last night at Belvoir - rain stayed away for the night which made for a fast track for riders. 5 in for the Senior race: Adam, Fraser, Stuart, Chris and myself with Stuart and Chris riding a 1 lap handicap. After 3 laps of the 8 lap race, they closed the gap and took to the front before Chris punctured. Lee offered him his bike to continue the race and Chris had a few laps remaining to catch the rest of us. On my last lap coming up over the final climb, I turned to find him on my wheel and sprinted to get away, but there was no shaking him. Adam had made the break a few laps earlier and would hold on to second. Chris got passed just before the single-track and secured third...damn  ! Lee and Dean have the league secured for their categories but its hotting up for the Under 16's and Seniors with only a few points in it. It will come down to the wire! Next week is the final round of the league with a Hill Climb at Stormont Estate. A. |
