Club run moving forward to 1830 this week, from Shaws Bridge car park.

A good run last night (if I do say so myself  ). Nice and steady most of the night - cutting through the shlomp and adding on a good extension to the week before. The rain barely broke all night, which made for a few hairy moments trying to keep the front wheel in a straight line. Hopefully its dryer next week. 26.5m DTD, just under 2.5 hours....and the light was still in the blue  . A. Ps: The bridge at the end of New Forge Lane, which leads around to the Lock Keepers Cafe is closed for rennovation. So if you want to go to Belvoir you have to cross over to the other side of the river at Shaws Bridge and then down the winding steps/ramp, then cycle along the path adjacent to the hockey pitches. |
